KR+H in Architectural Digest

What a nice surprise to see “Second Act,” the article in Architectural Digest’s February 2015 issue, showing some of KR+H’s work in a beautiful 1860s townhouse.

The great design minds behind the impressive overhaul of this Boston Victorian townhouse were Dell Mitchell and Steven Elmets of Dell Mitchell Architects and interior designers Heather Wells and Bruce Fox.

[Their] approach was driven by the clients’ desire to accommodate large, striking contemporary artworks in an inviting domestic setting redolent of history – however contrived – as opposed to clinical white contemporary rooms.” – Architectural Digest, “Second Act”

The image I’ve posted gives a glimpse of the kitchen KR+H’s wonderful craftspeople made. So great to see our craftsmanship married with good design and surrounded by art, architecture, and furnishings that create an eloquent and inviting space.

Architectural Digest’s story of this renovation will give you a wonderful tour through this Boston townhouse. See the online article…

All of us at KR+H appreciate having our craftsmanship be a part of this home.
