We are currently looking for people skilled in the following area:
Custom Manufacturing Operations Manager
KR+H is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager with a minimum of six years of wood-, or machine-shop management experience. We are seeking a colleague who keeps our shop running by providing a safe place to work, materials when they need them and well-maintained equipment. Reporting to our Director of Operations, this position is in person, on-site at our Stoughton location.
Responsibilities
Develop and oversee Company’s safety initiatives, OSHA, and workers comp insurance claims
Manage IT and Company’s Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Oversee general maintenance of the shop and office spaces
Manage our fleet of trucks to keep them safe and road-ready
Order everyday production, installation supplies and inventory to maintain target levels
Work with vendors to maintain machinery, tooling, tools & equipment
Manage the receiving and organization of manufacturing materials
Maintain accurate inventory records within our ERP system
Work with Management to oversee capital projects related to the building, machinery and vehicle purchases
Liaise with condo association when necessary
About the Opportunity
Pay for this role is approximately $100,000 per year. This position is salaried, exempt. We offer: 5 weeks of paid time off; paid holidays; paid parental leave; short- and long-term disability insurance; dental, vision and medical insurance; and a 401k with an employer contribution. We also offer annual profit-sharing bonuses if our financial performance warrants it. If you are a woodworker, you can use our shop to work on your own projects during off hours. This role requires a 45 hour workweek, requires standing and walking for extended periods of time and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Your workday would start between 6 am and 7 am.
