Custom Cabinet Project Manager
KR+H is looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager with a minimum of eight years of architectural or residential design/build Project Management experience. We seek a colleague who will manage the project end-to-end, liaise internally and externally, keep all parties aligned as to time, budget and key milestones. This role is critical to maintaining high client satisfaction and is the key communicator between the client, the designer, the builder and KR+H.
Qualifications
Serve as primary contact at KR+H for customers and professionals associated with the project
Develop and maintain a project’s “Job Folder” containing all project information
Understand Job schedule developed by the Partner at the time of the sale; coordinate schedule with the Shop Manager; alert all parties to approaching deadlines; determine and communicate consequences of delays; schedule the installation; compile punch list and communicate it to the Shop Manager; review installation at the end of the project
Prepare shop drawings, working from either KR+H design drawings or outside source drawings; review drawings with appropriate parties; revise and resubmit as needed until approval is secured; finalize drawings with all information needed for engineering
Understand and track schedule for Shop Drawing submittal deadlines; manage time to meet approaching deadlines; if unable to meet deadlines alert Partner
Measure job site; determine plumb and level conditions; establish ultimate envelope conditions; discuss assumptions and needs with general contractor
Review drawings with in-house Product Engineer, highlighting relevant design, construction, job site, and customer information.
Ability to generate and communicate design ideas effectively both graphically and verbally
Review nature of the project with the Shop Manager and key area personnel to ensure that materials are ordered in time and that special resources are in place as needed
Review changes in a project’s scope or detailing with Estimating and Partner so that costs can be updated and appropriate parties notified
Schedule site visits and meetings with customers, architects, and general contractors, as needed to further the Job’s progress
Track job site’s progress; check site prior to installation to confirm rough-in placements; incorporate any changes into drawings and communicate vital site information to Engineer and Shop Manager
About the Opportunity
Pay for this role ranges from $95,000 to $100,000 per year. We offer paid vacation, sick time and holidays, a 401k with an employer contribution. KR+H contributes 66% to monthly medical insurance premiums for you and your family. This position is in-office at our Stoughton location, with the option for a day or two per week worked from home. We offer annual profit-sharing bonuses, if our financial performance warrants it, and if you are a woodworker, the ability to work on your own projects during off hours. This role requires a 45 hour workweek, and requires frequent job site visits to actively measure and monitor envelope conditions.

Custom Cabinet Finisher
Qualifications
KR+H is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher with a minimum of three years' spraying experience to join our Finishing Department. We seek a colleague who is motivated by craftsmanship and has an eagerness to learn our standards. Our finishers touch everything made at KR+H and take great pride in their work given it is the first thing that meets our clients’ eye.
Can read drawings
Experience with both transparent and opaque spray finishes
Ability to color and stain match
Utilize both sanding equipment and hand sanding to prep product for finish
A keen eye to identify problems during the finishing process and to create solutions
About the Opportunity
Pay range for this role is between $28 and $35 per hour, depending on your expertise. We offer paid vacation, sick time off and holidays, a 401k with an employer contribution, STD and LTD, paid parental leave as well as dental, medical and vision insurance. This position is on-site at our Stoughton location. This role requires a 40 hours workweek, with workdays starting at 6 AM. There is regular opportunity for overtime, if you wish. Custom Cabinet Assembler
KR+H is looking for a collaborative Custom Cabinet Assembler with a minimum of three years of complex door or cabinet assembly experience in high end residential homes to join our Assembly Department. We seek a colleague who will lead by example, help others to improve their skills, is motivated by craftsmanship and has an eagerness to learn our standards. Our assemblers are the last people to touch our finished cabinets before they are installed, and play a key role in maintaining our high quality.
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans with a high degree of accuracy
Perform final fit-ups, install custom hardware, and conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process
Mastery of case assembly techniques including clamps, glue-ups, dowel construction, biscuit, tenso joinery, and pocket hole joinery, and panel construction.
Knowledgeable in a variety of cabinet and door hardware, such as Blum, and Salice
Installation and troubleshooting of undermount and side mount slides, concealed hinges
Comfortable using and working in metric system, especially with holes and cups
Familiar with a variety of overlay types such as face frame, full overlap, etc.
Pack parts, load truck, assist with deliveries
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices and safe tool operation
Ability to notice errors in their own work and the work of others
Commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement
