We are currently looking for people skilled in the following area:

Custom Manufacturing Operations Manager

KR+H is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager with a minimum of six years of wood-, or machine-shop management experience. We are seeking a colleague who keeps our shop running by providing a safe place to work, materials when they need them and well-maintained equipment. Reporting to our Director of Operations, this position is in person, on-site at our Stoughton location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee Company’s safety initiatives, OSHA, and workers comp insurance claims

  • Manage IT and Company’s Managed Service Provider (MSP)

  • Oversee general maintenance of the shop and office spaces

  • Manage our fleet of trucks to keep them safe and road-ready

  • Order everyday production, installation supplies and inventory to maintain target levels

  • Work with vendors to maintain machinery, tooling, tools & equipment

  • Manage the receiving and organization of manufacturing materials

  • Maintain accurate inventory records within our ERP system

  • Work with Management to oversee capital projects related to the building, machinery and vehicle purchases

  • Liaise with condo association when necessary

About the Opportunity

Pay for this role is approximately $100,000 per year. This position is salaried, exempt. We offer: 5 weeks of paid time off; paid holidays; paid parental leave; short- and long-term disability insurance; dental, vision and medical insurance; and a 401k with an employer contribution. We also offer annual profit-sharing bonuses if our financial performance warrants it. If you are a woodworker, you can use our shop to work on your own projects during off hours. This role requires a 45 hour workweek, requires standing and walking for extended periods of time and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Your workday would start between 6 am and 7 am.
